Follow on Google News | Hondros College Dayton Campus Expansion, RN programHondros College now offers an A.D.N./RN Nursing program at its Dayton area campus. The College also broke ground on the campus expansion in January.
By: Beth Czekalski, Director of Marketing and Comm. Alan Scherr Associates of Dayton is the architect of record on the project, and Oberer Realty of Miamisburg the contractor. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2011. Hondros College also has locations in West Chester, Westerville, Cleveland, Akron and Toledo. According to research conducted by the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation, the nation faces a shortage of 250,000 nurses by 2025, as a result of several trends, including the increased need for health care for aging Baby Boomers and the influx of new patients into the system as a result of health care reform. Hondros College offers an LPN program which can be completed in 4 quarters; an RN program which can be completed in 10 quarters; and an LPN to RN bridge program; which can be completed in 6 quarters. There is an Open House at the Fairborn campus on February 16.
