Last month bidStart celebrated another record-setting month by finishing our 2010 reaching 69,231 total transactions for the month of December. That was not only a record but represented a jump of more than 2,000 sales over the previous record set in February of 2010.
Coming off such a strong month resulted in high hopes that January might finally deliver the much-desired 70,000 mark. bidStart not only passed the goal but shattered it by ending the month at 74,490 transactions.
While other sites are struggling in a difficult economy all signs are pointing up for bidStart. This new plateau comes just as the site announced that starting this month--February, 2011--that they will no longer charge listing fees
for any listings.
Sales and new listings continued to grow in all their major categories including stamps, postcards, comics, coins, ephemera, collectible cards (sports, CCG's, etc.) and many more.
bidStart continues its goal of providing the vibrant collectibles marketplace with a service that can either supplement or replace sales on other services. Boasting industry-leading ebay synchronization, unsurpassed seller-based marketing tools and a second-to-none site layout and experience keeps bidStart ahead of the competition.
