MyEclipse 9.0 Milestone 2: HTML5 and Java EE 6

The newest release is built to support the most advanced Web developer technology, HTML5, so that developers can create rich Web applications with ease.

“Just when we thought the Web development community was about to stall and become dated, along came the acceptance of HTML5 technologies in the browser with a whole new level of support,” said Brian Fernandes, MyEclipse project manager for Genuitec. “Incorporating this growing technology into MyEclipse was a natural step for us to empower our user base with the latest, most advanced tools on the market.”

The newest release incorporates the simplest, yet most advanced Java EE 6 technology with an emphasis on extensibility, profiles, and pruning. And, by including JPA 2.0, users get extended mapping support, derived identifiers, nested embedding and much more. Support in M2 for JSF 2.0, EclipseLink 2.1 and Apache’s OpenJPA 2.0 is also included.

Subscriptions to MyEclipse are available annually for about $30, $50 or $150 for the Standard, Professional and Blue Editions respectively. MyEclipse for Spring is $99 during a special promotional period.
