Also honored with a 2010 Business Excellence Award were Luther Oaks, recipient of the Pantagraph Non-profit Agency Excellence Award; the Hile Group, who took home the Snyder Companies Micro Business Excellence Award; and Bloomington Offset Printing, Inc. (BOPI), winner of the Corn Belt Energy Green Business Excellence Award. Recipient of the 2010 NICOR Small Business Excellence Award, the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites has only been in McLean County for three years. In that short period of time, it has managed to stand out, not only excellence of service, but also in commitment to the community. The Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites has been regularly recognized for excellence in service, not only by its parent company, the Intercontinental Hotels Group, but by the Bloomington-
Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau as well. Crystal Howard, Director of the CVB said “The Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites exemplifies what the convention and visitors bureau would like to have our visitors experience. Their atmosphere, their service, their personal attention -- they are all contributing to the success, not only of the hotel, but of the community.”
More information on this award can be seen in the Chamber of Commerce Annual Report Issue which is available upon request through the Mclean County Chamber of Commerce.
