Volunteer with a leading Community Development Organisation in Ghana

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 1, 2011 - POM is rooted in literacy and basic education (especially focusing on young girls), and catalyzes social change at the community level through programs that link education to environmental sustainability, health issues, and economic, social, and civic development. It is the mission of POM to provide qualitative, sustainable educational initiatives towards enhancing the dignity and pride of humanity, to work to reduce poverty and disease, and to minimize global conflicts through revealing the inherent potential in every individual.

Currently, this Community Development Organisation seeks social workers, students with an interest in international development, project assistants, child rights educators, community sanitation officers and development fundraising officers to work towards empowering persons in lesser developed countries such as Ghana to realize sustainable growth and development.

AfriVol volunteers work to support indigenous Ghanaian organizations, promoting social and economic change while developing skills and gaining experiences which mold them into global citizens.
They hope to provide volunteers and interns with an experience which will be life changing, positive and lasting.
