PRLog - Jan. 31, 2011 - FOLLANSBEE, W.Va. -- A private residence in Erie, PA, featuring Follansbee® Steel KlassicKolors®
Erie Residence with Follansbee Steel roof
Follansbee KlassicKolors, prepainted Terne II in Patina was specified to maintain the historical authenticity and charm of the home originally built in 1929. Its location on the South Shore of Lake Erie required an attractive and durable roofing material that could withstand heavy amounts of snow and ice, while holding up against heavy winds. Approximately 8,000 square feet of Follansbee KlassicKolors was installed during the home’s expansion and renovation.
“We are honored that Metal Construction News has recognized our work on the Erie residence,” says Mark Robinson, Follansbee Steel Vice President and General Manager. “The unique combination of aesthetics, durability and longevity that Follansbee metal roofing products offer continue to make Follansbee an award-winning metal roofing option.” Metal Construction News Awards annually recognize the best projects in metal construction. In addition to Metal Roofing, categories include Metal Building, Metal Walls and Overall Project.
