Follansbee® Steel Honored by Metal Construction News

Jan. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- A private residence in Erie, PA, featuring Follansbee® Steel KlassicKolors®, was recently recognized as the best “Metal Roofing” project of 2010 by Metal Construction News.

Follansbee KlassicKolors, prepainted Terne II in Patina was specified to maintain the historical authenticity and charm of the home originally built in 1929. Its location on the South Shore of Lake Erie required an attractive and durable roofing material that could withstand heavy amounts of snow and ice, while holding up against heavy winds. Approximately 8,000 square feet of Follansbee KlassicKolors was installed during the home’s expansion and renovation.

KlassicKolors® prepainted ZT-alloy-coated steel is offered in an array of designer colors. Its base sheet is coated with Follansbee’s ZT alloy and then factory painted coated with low sheen, solar reflective color coatings.
