Jan. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- SEC has announced an extended deadline of March 2, 2011 for comments on the December 15, 2010 proposed regulations on conflict minerals.  The notice of this extension can be viewed here:  http://www.sec.gov/rules/proposed/2011/34-63793.pdf

Those considering submitting comments within the extended deadline may want to read the summary information on Elm’s blog.   We have posted multiple articles on our experiences with planning and executing the third party conflict minerals supply chain traceability audits for tantalum we conducted in 2010.    Access these articles here: http://elmconsultinggroup.wordpress.com/
