The project is the result of experiences gained from the release of Idiomz’s debut CD, “Come Hell or High Water”, and much prayer and supplication by Idiomz (aka Damon Curtis). It is a grassroots project designed to be personal and easy for fans to get involved with.
“This is about more than just music,” explains Idiomz. “This is direct outreach and ministry. An opportunity for believers to get involved and, perhaps, be a blessing to someone who is still seeking. I am not interested in turning a profit. I am interested in exposing the truth to as many as I possibly can.”
As fans provide input into the project they become contributors, supporters or both. Contributors are those who share their stories and ideas for inclusion as content. Supporters are those who pre-order or give a gift towards the project expenses.
The Hosea 4:6 Project goals are to gather enough input from fans to record between 9 and 13 tracks; and to raise at least $1500.00 in pre-sales and donations. The bulk of funds raised will go to cover the costs of design, manufacturing and administration.
The concept for The Hosea 4:6 Project was inspired by the success of such independent artist as Mia Kim (http://www.sukeyrose.com/
