This year’s proceeds will benefit Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of local residents with cerebral palsy.
The popular golf event features a scramble format, where golfers play 9 or 18 holes, or participate in a three-part clinic for beginners. Attendees will also enjoy a brunch, dinner reception and awards ceremony, as well as a silent auction and raffle.
Since its founding in 1953, Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey has grown to serve the needs of more than 1,400 infants, children and adults with a variety of disabilities. Their programs and services include an early intervention program, specialized schools, adult training centers, shared living environments, and respite and after-school programs.
At last year’s event, more than 150 golfers of all skill levels enjoyed a day on the links, with opportunities to network and the chance to win raffle prizes. The fundraiser collected $10,000 for NJ Sharing Network, a non-profit organization responsible for the recovery of donated organs and tissue for the 4,500 New Jersey residents currently awaiting a life-saving transplant.
Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2011 event. For more information, visit www.icrewnj.org.
