Google, by far the largest search engine, has created and posted over 49 million "free" business listings. It's up to the business owners to Claim their listing and verify the content, although less than 5% have done so.
The Challenge: How do prospective customers answer their 4 main questions (*) about your business? Hint - They're not using the Yellow pages any more; Those went from a wet lump in their driveway straight to the recycle bin.
(*) 1) Your phone number, 2) your address/driving directions, 3) your hours of operation and 4) additional details such as payments accepted. You need to have these important items immediately available to your prospect: "above the fold", not hidden away on your About Us page.
This presentation will cover the basics of getting your Google Places Listing Found on the Internet. You will learn how to claim your listing, add strategic keywords, add additional details, pictures and videos. The Google Places listing is an important ranking partner to your current website and crucial if you don't yet have a website that creates any traffic.
In a brief half hour, you'll learn how to establish an Internet presence for your business whether you are brick and mortar or a landscaper that works around the community.
