WHY:                According to recent national surveys, almost 30 percent of teens in the United States (or over 5.7 million) are estimated to be involved in school bullying as either a bully, a target of teen bullying, or both.   In fact, teen bullying is often a cry for help and a warning sign that children and teens are heading for trouble and possibly at risk of having at least one criminal conviction in their lifetime.  These frightening statistics have led our group, One Thurd, to join forces with the nation on tackling the crisis of teenage bullying.
