Argand Energy completes one of Charlotte area's largest private solar installations

Jan. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Charlotte, N.C., January 23, 2011 – Argand Energy Solutions, a leading provider of solar energy design and installation services, has completed a solar PV installation for Patrick Yarn Mills in Kings Mountain, NC. The installation is one of the largest privately owned systems in the Charlotte region, and will generate enough electricity to power 14 average American homes.

The system was made possible by a grant from the NC Energy Office. All of the major
components qualify for the “Buy America” provision of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The mounting hardware was manufactured locally in Albemarle, NC by DP&W, a division Preformed Line Products.
