Models Direct: Gisele To Cover Emmanuelle Alt's First Vogue Paris

Jan. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Although the majority of the team here at Models Direct think Gisele is a great choice – especially given her association with Balenciaga – some are slightly disappointed, arguing that  Alt's first cover as Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Paris should push the boundaries a little more.

However, if Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin have shot Gisele in Balenciaga, which many are predicting, then this move could in fact be a big statement.

After all, the supermodel is the face of the brand and the move would be huge when considering the issues that ensued between Balenciaga and former Vogue Paris Editor-in-Chief, Carine Roitfeld.

But, according to a source, after the entire Vogue Paris team were banned from Balenciaga’s show and pulled their ads from the magazine, all seems well between the fashion house’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière and Roitfeld – they were caught enjoying drinks together last week.
