Palm Beach School for Autism Receives $6,500 Grant from the TD Charitable Foundation

The Palm Beach School for Autism receives $6,500 grant from The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, for the Everyone Needs To Enjoy Reading (E.N.T.E.R.) Project; a library specifically designed for children with autism.

Jan. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- The Palm Beach School for Autism was awarded a grant of $6,500 from the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, for the Everyone Needs To Enjoy Reading (E.N.T.E.R.) Project.  The goal of the E.N.T.E.R. Project, is to design and outfit a library with materials specifically designed for children with autism spectrum disorder.  This library will provide the students with resources currently not available to them.

The TD Charitable Foundation carries a legacy of supporting not-for-profit institutions and their important work throughout the region.  Since its inception in 2002, the foundation has contributed over $67 million in grant funding to not-for-profit organization in the communities where they work, live, and do business.

“We believe that The Palm Beach School for Autism plays a significant and important role in the community,” said Linda Bozzuto, regional vice president, TD Bank.  “We love what they do for all of their students.”

The Palm Beach School for Autism, a charter school located in Lantana, Florida provides a developmentally appropriate intense behavior intervention program for children with autism and related disabilities.  It addresses the learning needs of its students through individual educational plans, a highly trained teaching staff and choice of curricula to suit the individual needs of the student.
