Grantham University, an online university, welcomes Dr. Paul Illian as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to a distinguished 21-year military career, he possesses a background in education administration and instruction.

Jan. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Kansas City, Mo. – Grantham University, an online university serving the educational needs of working adult students, welcomes Dr. Paul Illian as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.  In addition to a distinguished 21-year military career, Dr. Illian possesses a well developed background in education administration and instruction, which includes administering remote college campuses, teaching ground and online courses, and serving as an Academic Dean.  

“As a retired service member, I am excited to continue my career at a University whose programs and services are designed to meet the educational needs of service members and veterans regardless of their location – in the U.S. or overseas,” said Dr. Illian.  

Dr. Illian will continue to grow the College of Arts and Sciences through new degree programs and concentrations, specialized accreditation for the Nursing programs and strengthening faculty through professional development. His credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Adult Education from Capella University and a Master of Science in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/History, both from Kansas State University.

“Since joining Grantham University’s staff, Paul has committed himself to improving instructional processes and supporting faculty in their teaching and learning roles,” said Dr. Fredrick Snow, president of Grantham University.
