You now have a chance to contribute to a record setting attempt with the Mukti Pao Campaign as part of Future Generali’s Insurance Week.

Future Generali is celebrating Insurance Week from 29 January – 6 February 2011. Through this campaign, the brand wants to educate people about the importance of insurance and how it can play a role in ensuring eternal peace of mind. The campaign’s creative thought is rooted in the Indian insight: the “Karta” philosophy – the family bread-winner needs to ensure the financial security of his family during and after his life, to ensure his peace of mind.

Every sign up at Big Bazaar and Facebook would be represented by a white balloon which would be set free on “Insurance Day” on 6 February 2011. With the Mukti Pao application on Facebook - www.facebook.com/FutureGenerali, Future Generali with the help of millions of Indians is attempting to set a record by signing and releasing the maximum number of balloons, i.e. relieving as many souls of guilt for not having insured their family and safeguarding their future.

With the “Insurance Week” campaign, they aim to spread awareness about insuring one’s life. With India 12th in Asia in terms of Insurance Cover, the so called young India we celebrate and talk about will probably be a middle aged/old India just 15 to 20 years down the line, with little or no Insurance. Most Indians still view the need for insurance from the prism of an investment/tax need than for its primary benefit – peace of mind and security. With this insurance drive, Future Generali is looking to grow the category and build on insurance being a necessary risk cover tool rather than just an investment avenue.
