Woodlands based Luxury Remodeler says “Economy has turned the corner.”

The recent economic conditions have hurt many contractors and home builders across the nation.  However, recent indicators have caused one luxury remodeler to declare the recession “over”.  CRSredo, once a leading home builder in north Houston Suburbs is now one of The Woodlands–Conroe areas top remodelers.  “We’ve seen triple digit gains in revenue since switching to remodeling in August 2010” says Blake Roberts, President of CRSredo.  “I’m confident in the future for the first time in three years.  The economy has turned the corner and we’re starting to see some massive projects that will require us to hire additional staff if they come to fruition.”

His sentiments are shared across the North Houston home building community.  “If I was to compare it to 2009, it’s like night & day” recalls Rich Jones of Pulte Homes.  “It’s still a buyers market however, I must impress upon you that the market underwent an unbelievable amount of capitulation over the past couple of years.  We’re still feeling effects of 2008 but, buyers are now shifting their focus from heavy discounts to amenities and what a community can provide.”

Roberts of CRSredo sums it up best with this “Those who aren’t prepared for the turnaround are going to miss a tremendous opportunity.  We’re heavily involved with Northwest Houston Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Builders Associations, and The Woodlands Architecture community.  These relationships forged today are going to be the key to tomorrow.”
