McKinney’s Painting with a Twist to host 30WALK Benefit for Breast Cancer Research

Jan. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Everyone is invited to join us for an evening of creativity and camaraderie where we pair instructional art with friends, wine and a lively instructor to recreate the featured painting for the evening “A New Life in Bloom”. Registration is $45 per painter and the studio can seat up to 40 people.  All registrations can be made at http://paintingwithatwist.com/events/viewEvent.aspx?eventID=14364. 30WALK is providing a healthy, complimentary dinner and we invite everyone to bring their favorite bottle of wine or favorite drink!  All proceeds will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).  30WALK© is committed to providing breast cancer prevention support and awareness in our community.

A  core mission of each Painting with a Twist franchise is to be an active member of the community and to focus on giving back – in that spirit the Painting with a Purpose program was created. Karlie Saumier of 30WALK says “Our goal is to raise $3000 in 2011 through our Painting with a Twist fundraiser event, 30WALK fundraising page on our BCRF website, and during both 30 mile events.  We chose Painting with a Twist for our fundraiser because Kim and her team nurture creativity in a great environment.  This painting also represents new life, which resonates with our mission to lower our risk of breast cancer and help fund breast cancer research.
