Mary Kennedy to Offer New One-Day Interior Decorating Service
Beginning in January

NEW YORK, N.Y. (Dec. 7, 2010) -- Manhattan-based interior decorating service, Use-What-You-Have Interiors, today announced that Mary Kennedy, owner of Shoreview-based Mary Helen Design, has successfully completed its Decorator Training Program to become a certified member of the Interior Redecorators Network (IRN). Interior Redecorators Network is the preeminent organization of one-day redecorators. Kennedy is the first designer in the state of Minnesota to be certified with this training program.

In announcing Kennedy’s certification, Lauri Ward, best-selling author and president of Use-What-You-Have Interiors, said, “I’m so pleased that Mary Kennedy has joined the Interior Redecorators Network. Mary Helen Design will bring residents of the Twin Cities a proven, money-saving way to redo their homes using items they already have."

Mary Helen Design is the first company in Minnesota to offer the innovative principles and techniques first developed by Ward in the early 1980s and described in her popular book, Use-What-You-Have Decorating. Emphasizing “expert redecoration without new investment,” Ward’s Interior Redecorator Network is available in more than 100 cities across the United States. The concept uses existing furniture and accessories to give clients’ homes a great new look in just one day.

Kennedy’s new decorating service will be available in January with re-decorating services beginning at $250 for a standard-size room. Gift certificates are available.
