Algebra Applicatons v2.0 for the new TI-Nspire

Jan. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Media4Math is pleased to announce the launch of v2.0 of its Algebra Applications video series. This 10-part video series aligns to a full-year high school algebra curriculum and focuses on applications of algebra to the real-world. In particular, applications of algebra to science, technology, engineering, and other disciplines provide an interdisciplinary approach that enriches the math.

The 10 DVDs are packaged into two volumes:

Volume 1:
• Linear Functions
• Quadratic Functions
• Variables and Equations
• Inequalities
• Data Analysis

Volume 2:
• Functions and Relations
• Exponential Functions
• Logarithmic Functions
• Rational Functions
• Systems of Equations

In addition, the TI-Nspire graphing calculator is used to solve the algebra problems introduced in each video segment. A companion teacher's guide lists all the relevant keystrokes for using the calculator. This series supports the new TI-Nspire Touchpad calculators and is an expanded and updated version.
