Reconnecting the Maker and the Buyer at WoodExpo 2011

After working as a trained and certified carpenter Tommy MacDonald attended North Bennet Street School to further develop his skills as a woodworker and learn the fine art of furniture making. He has been featured in numerous publications and his furniture has been exhibited in a number of shows. It is this love of furniture making that inspired him to create WoodExpo.

Be sure to stop by to hear guest speakers invited by MacDonald.  These expert furniture designers and makers will be doing live bench-side technique demonstrations.  The speakers are Allan Breed, Steve Brown, Glen G. Guarino, and Philip C. Lowe.

In addition to hearing the speakers this will be a wonderful opportunity to see a juried exhibition of furniture celebrating the craftsmanship of the American furniture artist. WoodExpo has invited North Bennet Street School, Furniture Institute of Massachusetts and the Breed School to show work by their students.
