Marketing & Selling Your Home with Video in the San Francisco Bay Area

Video is a powerful tool to market homes; and The Matchmakers real estate company is utilizing video to help maximize the number of prospective buyers internationally for their clients.

Jan. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- In the San Francisco Bay Area, video is a very powerful tool for marketing homes – especially high-end luxury homes – in the real estate market today. Video speaks volumes more than photos or bland virtual tours. And real estate is fast becoming an international market. This certainly applies to the San Francisco Bay Area. If you want to get the maximum exposure for a luxury home, you have to reach out to the world.

But if you are a home owner looking to list your property, the sad fact is that very few brokers or agents are fully aware of how to utilize this tool. If you are lucky, they might produce a passable video and then post it on their website, and think that does the trick.

The problem is this:

The vast majority of home buyers are now taking their initial steps in looking for a home by searching on the internet. But they are not looking for the agent’s website. They are typing search words into Google Search or some other search engine, describing their dream home. And the results they get are not including the agent’s website. Even if the agent prints lovely brochures, and his or her agency is part of a national or international chain, the agent’s efforts are still reaching only a fraction of the available pool of prospective buyers.

For instance, type in “country estate San Luis Obispo” into Google Search, and see what comes up. In the results our video is #1.

Thirdly, The Matchmakers is combining video projects of local events, festivals, landmarks, and interviews with people in the Bay Area, to continue attracting people to the website.
