January 21, 2011
Port St. Joe winter resident and novelist, Chuck Waldron, will be one of the local authors participating in booksALIVE 2011, the 12th Annual Festival of Reading, a day of author presentations and book sales.
He will have two books available; Tears in the Dust an action novel, along with Remington and the Mysterious Fedora, a quirky fantasy. He will be more than happy to discuss his writing and take orders for his third novel, Served Cold, which will be available in late February.
“Port St. Joe – and the surrounding area – has been just what I have needed over the past three winters; a place to write, a place to edit, a place to enjoy long walks, and the best of what a community like Port St. Joe offers.”
booksALIVE 2011 will take place Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 9AM until 4PM at Gulf Coast Community College, Student Union, 2nd floor, Conference Center in Panama City.
There is no cost to attend and you can get information about the events of the day and directions by visiting www.booksalive.net.
