She has studied the regulations and pursued full implementation of an Export Management Compliance Program (EMCP) at New England Wire Technologies. She enlisted the help of others within her organization to bring the corporation into full compliance.
The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) regulate the export of military products, services and technical data, while the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) regulate the export of commercial high technology goods, services and technical data. Both regulations are designed to protect United States national security from threat including they threat of terrorism.
