Jan. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Over 100 Platinum Members, whose importance in the cruise and tourism industry cannot be stressed enough, and over 20 cruise executives congregated from January 15th-20th for FCCA’s PAMAC Cruise Summit to discuss trends, develop ideas, promote and pitch their products and destinations, and develop lasting and worthwhile business relationships with some of the most significant decision makers in the industry.

The PAMAC Cruise Summit featured functions and meetings that designed to foster these relationships, the exchange of ideas and the promotion of our members’ products. One of these events was the Business Card Exchange Reception, where members and executives are able to meet or reacquaint themselves.

One of the most important proceedings was the PAMAC Meeting, where the latest developments and issues in the industry or any topic/question offered by the members were discussed by an expert panel in order to stay informed on all of the most recent trends and how to best actualize the knowledge gained.

Also featured were one-on-one meetings with the cruise executives selected by the members, where the members were able to promote and pitch their products to those that make the decisions of what is offered onboard cruise ships and which ports will be included for current and future itinerary development, along with having the capability to provide any input that is necessary in order to make a viable business model.

Tours were also arranged by the government of the Cayman Islands and provided by some of the Platinum Members from Cozumel in order to give the group an opportunity to see and learn from new tour offerings and the destinations’ port and infrastructure developments.

Additionally, receptions and organized dinners further fostered the relationships between the members and executives, while allowing for more opportunities to learn from each other.

The FCCA is proud to offer these events for its members to develop their businesses, cultivate ideas and establish working relationships with some of the most prominent figures and decision makers throughout the industry.
