Cascade Tek Front Range Opens Laboratory & Testing Site in Longmont

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 21, 2011 - “The five-year lease was signed in late December; Cascade Tek will be moving in mid-January,” announced leasing agent Tim Conarro with The Colorado Group. Conarro, along with Colorado Group brokers Audrey Berne and Miles King, managed the transaction for the owner of the commercial property.

The company’s expansion to Longmont fills a deep void left when technology giant Oracle Corporation elected to dedicate its Longmont-based Advanced Product Testing lab to in-house purposes only.

“We looked at a significant number of properties in the Longmont area,” said Terry Candlish, vice president of operations for Cascade. “Our goal was to closely replicate the building and culture of our facility in Hillsboro. The site on Vista View met our needs perfectly.” Candlish noted.

Colorado Tek offers a variety of mechanical testing services including shock, humidity, vibration and regulatory certification. In addition to testing for product reliability, Colorado Teck assists other companies in establishing their own in-house laboratories and maintaining equipment.
