10 Years of savings drives expansion for spend management firm

Jan. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Leeds-based Science Warehouse, one of the fastest growing companies in the e-business sector, is putting the finishing touches to an exciting start to the New Year. After celebrating its 10-year anniversary the company has expanded its business into new offices at the Half Roundhouse, Wellington Road, Leeds.

Over the last decade, organisations using the company’s spend management offering have saved millions of pounds. Today, Science Warehouse solutions are used by leading organisations across a range of sectors from life sciences to construction.

The office move comes just weeks after the company announced a string of new staff appointments and new business wins including with the leading international group of contract laboratories, Eurofins, and a strategic partnership with global procurement service provider Entec International.

We were looking for high quality offices with a bit of character – the Half Roundhouse fits the bill perfectly with its history dating back to the mid 19th century when it was used by the Leeds and Thirsk Railway Company for the repair and maintenance of locomotives.

It’s almost three times the size of our previous office and gives us plenty of scope to support our ongoing expansion and with some of the original building features still intact, it provides a great environment both for our staff as well as visiting customers.”
