Lyle Johnson to be keynote speaker at The 2011 NAACP Lincoln-Douglass Banquet

Jan. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Lyle Johnson certified personal trainer and author of Get Fit 4 Christ will be the keynote speaker at the Springfield Branch NAACP 90th Annual Lincoln-Douglass Banquet on Sunday, February 13th in Springfield, IL at the Crown Plaza at 2:30 p.m.  Johnson will deliver the keynote speech titled, “One Nation, One Dream – Working Together” addressing our nation’s childhood obesity problem.    

“I am honored to be the keynote speaker at this year NAACP banquet in Springfield,” said Johnson.  “The Springfield Branch NAACP is a great organization for all people.  This organization is the grassroots, they always keep plugging away, they don’t give up, they kept doing what they do, and they do it well.  They encouraged every one of us to become One Nation, One Dream – Working Together and I am looking forward to offering my advice and expertise on how to defeat our country obesity problem.”

Johnson motivates people to strengthen their spiritual and physical bodies in his new book, Get Fit 4 Christ.  The book empowers people to take charge of their lives and focus themselves through scripturally based meditations, prayer and action. The book, available on the day of the Lincoln-Douglas Banquet, makes getting fit a practical and obtainable goal.
