The online organization is growing quickly and wishes to continue to extend its outreach as it begins planning for an international conference.

Jan. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Arabic Studies International (ASI) was entered the social media arena with a new group on LinkedIn.  The organization believes this platform will assist its continued stellar growth as the appeal of its international networking and promotion of the Arabic language and culture has been widely accepted.  Members use the organization's web site to obtain information pertinent to professionals in Arabic studies including discussions, events, publications, scholarships, studies abroad programs, and more.  Membership for most categories is free.

ASI Founder and President, Dina Elbahesh, stated "Beginning a presence on social media sites such as LinkedIn will help us to advance our mission.  We expect to continue the use of Social Media as our organization grows.  Particularly once we establish a regular program of conferences and workshops, social media will help to spread the word of our hard work."
