Leading digital imaging specialist Canon USA recently completed their shoot for O2 Media’s hit morning TV show “The Balancing Act.”  The segment, which features Senior Manager of Marketing Patricia Watsula, will air as part of the February 2nd show at 7:00 am (ET/PT) on Lifetime Television.  Watsula introduces the P-150 “Scan-tini” portable scanner, a device that can drastically reduce office clutter and also improve productivity for traveling businesspeople.

The Scan-tini is the first professional grade document scanner to receive power through a single USB cable, making it completely portable and incredibly convenient.  It boasts up to 600 dpi resolution, Mac and PC compatibility, and even has an automatic feeder that can handle up to 20 pages of mixed documents.  With scanning speeds that rival full-size machines and embedded software that allows “plug and scan” capability, the P-150 is the world’s fastest, most portable personal duplex scanner.

“The Scan-tini takes scanning beyond the office into the convenience of any user location,” Watsula says.  “Whether on business trips, in a meeting, or at home, the Canon scanner will provide the ability to digitize invoices, forms, and other important documents. The Balancing Act is a great opportunity to show viewers how much easier their taxes, spring cleaning chores, and business travel can be with Scan-tini’s help.”

The P-150 scanner is Canon’s first entry into the personal scanner market, and is currently the smallest multiple-page sheet-fed scanner available on the market today.  At 11 inches long and just over 2 pounds in weight, the Scan-tini is not only sleek and stylish, it is also energy efficient.  In fact, the P-150 consumes the least amount of energy of any document scanner, making it the perfect combination of efficiency and functionality.

“Having Patricia Watsula from Canon USA on the show has brought yet another great solution to women, one that will have a real impact, and help them balance their lives,” says Doug Campbell, Founder and Executive VP of Programming for The Balancing Act.  “This is the essence of solutions-based programming, and we are proud that we could bring this information to our viewers.”
