Flowing in for Floods

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 19, 2011 - With Queensland starting to get their heads around the loss and devastation of the floods, I am so impressed by the way many businesses, bloggers and even ordinary Australians are setting up online auctions on social media sites such as Facebook. Not only was I personally touched by people’s generosity at this particular auction site. The first auction released was full of donations from fellow Queenslanders that were not even certain about their own fate, that of family and friends or of the very livelihood that drives people to live in the great golden state.
One Facebook Auction is overwhelmingly overflowing with offers. Adding a new auction each couple of days, as donations flow in from around this great country of ours.

When flick announced she would be starting an auction for Queensland flood relief, she was inundated with offers of goods, services and products from around Australia.

This beautiful soul has started a revolution of open hearts and wallets.
Her Facebook information page reads:
“A place to come and dare to believe that dreams come true,
Only good things happen and people love and respect each always.
This is a place that I would like to flow out into the REAL WORLD - Where everyone treats each other the way we should with LOVE AND RESPECT of each others space. ♥”

How could you not donate to a mums plight to help, when she herself every day is trying with all her whimsical, wonderful thoughts and actions to enlighten and encourage us all to be the best we can be.
