To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Hassler has put together two special menu offers for a memorable evening with someone special: a dinner at the Michelin starred panoramic restaurant Imàgo or at the “Palazzetto” Restaurant located next to the Spanish Steps.

Chef Francesco Apreda proposes: “Gold, silver and beer”, a menu consisting of tasty dishes prepared with different quality beers. To start, an aphrodisiac shot of dark beer and plated oysters served with pink grapefruit powder followed by a seafood and seaweed salad with white asparagus and beer mousse, Parmesan cheese “cappellotti” in tuna stock and double golden malt consommé. Red beer flavor will enhance the taste of the red mullet fillet with black truffle “foie gras” and quail eggs. To sweeten the palate, sweet grilled bread accompanied by Monviso blue cheese and honey hops. Finally to end the meal, a special “Tiramisù” in a mug, spiced beer and espresso coffee (prices starting from € 155 per person, all beverages excluded).

“Men are from Mars and women are from Venus”—an ironic metaphor that underlines the differences between men and women, followed by tender and loving moments—is the name chosen for the Valentine’s Day menu at the beautiful and striking setting of the Palazzetto, located a short distance from the Hassler Roma.

“Physical attraction” starter with three kinds of cooked fish served with tasty sauces, strong distinctive flavors for the stronger sex and more delicate ones for the gentle one, as in the typical cliché states. Physical attraction is followed by “Courting” a first course dish consisting of fennel “gnocchetti” with lobster, sweet peppers and toasted pine nuts for him and scampi seasoned with thyme and “taggiasche” olives for her. Where does courting go without “Infatuation”... an entrée with turbot slices with “cacciatore” sauce for the man and a sweet Parmesan cream for the lady. The following is “Emotion” with, “an apple for Adam” consisting of top choice boiled meats and fresh herbs for him and the “Rib for Eve” an almond and acacia honey breaded cutlet for her. To finish, “Complicity” dessert: chocolate cake served with lychee mousse and “Bronte” pistachio sauce (prices starting from € 65 per person, all beverages are excluded).
