The individual workshops contain practicum assignments to be completed between each workshop allowing individuals to practice what they learned. The start of the next workshop allows participants to share what they experienced while completing their practicum assignment. Each practicum is an eye-opening exercise which provides a critical advantage over conventional leadership training programs.

New in 2011 BIS offers customization options for the leadership development program where organizations can choose to substitute other workshops like Communication, Time Management or Dealing with Difficult People in place of the current workshops to provide their future leaders with a program designed to support the organization’s unique development needs.
