Michael Watkins
Michael Watkins is the world's leading expert on accelerating transitions. He is author of the international bestseller The First 90 Days: Critical Success Strategies for New Leaders at all Levels, recognised by The Economist as "the on-boarding bible." With more than 500,000 in print and having been translated into 27 languages, The First 90 Days has become the enduring classic reference for leaders in transition. Recently it was named one of the best 100 business books of all time.

Michael is the Chairman of Genesis Advisers, an executive on-boarding and transition acceleration company. Previously he was a professor at IMD in Switzerland, INSEAD in France, the Harvard Business School, and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He has designed award-winning programs in accelerating transitions, Future Enterprise Leadership development, negotiation, and corporate diplomacy.

Michael's recent book, Your Next Move: The Leader's Guide to Successfully Navigating Major Career Transitions, was published in 2009 by Harvard Business Press.

During his presentations, Michael will explain how the most successful leaders adapt their leadership style as conditions change in their organisations. Dan Heath
Dan Heath is a Senior Fellow at Duke University's CASE Centre. He is the co-author of Switch: How to Change Things When Change Is Hard, which debuted at number 1 on the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists. Along with his brother Chip, Dan previously co-wrote the critically acclaimed book Made to Stick, which was named the Best Business Book of the Year in 2007, spent 24 months on the BusinessWeek bestseller list, and has been translated into 29 languages.

Heath is a columnist for Fast Company magazine, and he has taught and consulted with organisations such as Microsoft, Philips, Vanguard, Macy’s, USAID, and the American Heart Association.

Previously, Dan worked as a researcher and case writer for Harvard Business School and as a Consultant to the Policy Programs of the Aspen Institute.

Dan has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA from the Plan II Honours Program from the University of Texas at Austin.
