Follow on Google News | Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce Business Luncheon with Austin BeutnerThe Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce and The Daily News present the First Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles and Chief Executive for Economic & Business Policy Austin Beutner, as the guest speaker of the Sherman Oaks Chamber Business Luncheon on January 20.
First Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles and Chief Executive for Economic & Business Policy, Austin Beutner, will speak on topical matters related to commerce in the City of Los Angeles. He will also discuss the various programs and services available to local businesses. Mr. Beutner will be taking questions from the audience. Mr. Beutner brings a unique combination of experience in the private sector of leading successful companies and in the public sector of spearheading economic development efforts. Beutner’s role at City Hall has him tasked to develop and execute strategies to create new jobs, attract new industry sectors, grow current businesses, cut red tape and generally change the business culture of Los Angeles to one where business growth and job creation is more actively encouraged and fostered. Beutner currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the California Institute of the Arts; Chairman of the Board for The Broad Stage in Santa Monica; Co-Chairman of the Community Arts Program; and Chairman of the Board of the California Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. The Luncheon is sponsored by the Los Angeles Daily News. There will be a brief presentation by second Luncheon sponsor, M. David Paul Development, who will present their new Sherman Oaks project.
