Combustion systems of Chinese IBs are usually low quality. Chain grate and traveling grate combustion grates are usually lower than 60%.
Since IB's in China run on raw coal, burnt on low quality combustion grates results in poor boiler efficiencies. Even on relatively well operated and well maintained traveling grate boilers, combustion efficiencies are typically only 75%.
