The move was prompted largely in part due to his marriage to a British citizen in August of 2008. But, he has always had a fondness for England. "I love England. I first went there in 2001 to study at Cambridge University on a summer abroad program offered by my college. And I fell in love. It was actually there that my photography started to blossom and develop. England helped me become the photographer that I am today."
Taylor is known for his food photography, but also for his well rounded approach to photography. "I shoot everything. Most professional photographers that I know specialize in one type of photography. Whether it's portrait, weddings, food, corporate, sports. They focus in on one type of photography and don't branch out much from there. I'm a photographer. It's what I do, but it's also who I am. I can and do shoot everything."
When Taylor was asked why he made the move he responded by saying, "Well, getting married to a Brit helped me in my decision, but also, East Grinstead is an ideal location for photographers in England. It's 45 minutes to London by train. It is surrounded by National Trusts and sites of exquisite beauty. I'm very happy here. I can see my photography improving everyday living amongst all this beauty."

About Taylor Young Photography:
Though I did receive accolades for my work, there was, for me, something missing. That something was my photographic art. While I was generally able to incorporate that creative aspect into marketing campaigns I created for companies, it was when I was behind the lens that I found total enjoyment, and fulfillment, in my work. Thus, I decided to take the plunge and dedicate myself full-time to photographic art.
My philosophy is very simple: Provide my clients more than what they asked for or would expect. http://www.tayloryoungphotography.com
