Orlando, FL (January 12, 2011) – The DiSTI Corporation, a leading provider of advanced graphical user interface technology, has been recognized in the 2011 Florida Companies to WatchSM  program, which honors privately held second-stage companies that are headquartered in the state of Florida. Of over 300 companies nominated, DiSTI was chosen among only 50 state-wide finalists for its rapid advancements in virtual maintenance training technology, exceptional employee and job development, and sustainable profitability.

The unique awards program with Florida Companies to Watch focuses on second-stage companies and the wide-ranging industries they represent. To be eligible for this title, applicants must retain between six and 99 full-time employees, as well as have an annual revenue that ranges from $750,000 to $50 million. Awardees are selected for demonstrating the intent and capacity to grow based on employee or sales growth, exceptional entrepreneurial leadership, sustainable competitive advantage and for any other notable strengths.

This honor is presented by GrowFL, the Florida Economic Gardening Institute at the University of Central Florida and funded by the state of Florida, with ACG Florida, in association with the Edward Lowe Foundation.
