Jan. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Our Botswana safari tours highlight the magnificent extremes of Botswana, from scorching desert to lush waterways and from wide open plains to thick riverine woodland. Within these extremes you will find some of Africa’s greatest wilderness areas.

If you have not seen Botswana, you definately have not seen real Africa!

Here are a few reasons and they will sound synonimous around the world with African Safari:

1. OKAVANGO DELTA
The Okavango Delta is one of the world’s largest inland water systems. An environmental and conservation policy adopted by the Botswana Government has resulted in a pristine wilderness teaming with wildlife unchanged throughout the millennia.

2. THE KALAHARI DESERT
The Kalahari Desert is one of these destinations offering the spirituality of the Makgadikgadi Pans or the humbling experience of the peoples of the San – The Kalahari Bushmen. Game viewing for animals which include giraffe, brown hyaena, warthog, wild dog, cheetah, leopard, lion, blue wildebeest, eland, gemsbok, kudu, red hartebeest and springbok, is best between December and April, when the animals tend to congregate in the pans and valleys.

3. CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Botswana Safaris, home to the largest concentration of Elephants on Earth!  Next to the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park is probably Botswana’s next most well known conservation area. It is a diverse area, from the border at the Chobe River, to the recently re-flooded Savute Channel, and beyond to the borders of the Moremi Game Reserve/ Okavango Delta. The Park is best known for its concentrations of elephant – some 120 000 individuals, along with good numbers of buffalo, antelope and predators. Birding is also excellent, with many migrants visiting from November to March.

4. MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Covering some 4,871 km2, as the eastern section of the Okavango Delta. The Moremi Game Reserve is described as one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in Africa. It combines mopane woodland and acacia forests, floodplains and lagoons. It is the great diversity of plant and animal life that makes Moremi so well known.
