Jan. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- So far this year, the average household has spent £780. Of this, £294.53** has been spent on food, drink, clothes and entertainment.  If these purchases had been made with cashback and voucher code deals, the average household would have saved £73.66 already.

Using data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and current voucher code and cashback rates on Quidco.com, see the table for the savings that would have been possible.

Hannah Green at Quidco.com said, “Statistics suggest that households will have already spent nearly £300 on food, clothing and entertainment this year and if they’d used the voucher codes and cashback offers available to them they would have racked up almost £75 worth of savings.  Considering that there are big high street sales and pressure to book a summer holiday in January, both figures are likely to be even higher.   There are deals available for just about everything so there is no excuse for paying full price when household budgets are already so stretched.

“What’s more, if you’ve signed up to a dating site or a weight loss scheme this year, you may have missed out on as much as £50 cashback already as all of the leading sites offer savings via Quidco.com.”
