Dubbed as Detroit’s first micro-distilled spirit since Prohibition and recently awarded a Gold Medal with a 90-Point rating from the Beverage Tasting Institute, Valentine Vodka is considered “Exceptional”
Valentine Vodka launched in March 2009 by Rifino Valentine, who left 13 years on Wall Street to return to his home state where he drew on distilling knowledge learned at Cornell University and Detroit’s history of speakeasies and bootlegging to help create the taste and persona of Valentine Vodka and Belle, the proprietress gracing each bottle. “Chicago shares with Detroit a great history of hideaways and speakeasies. We’re bringing back a time when most spirits consumed were hand-made and produced locally and I’m confident discerning Chicago-area vodka drinkers will appreciate a quality crafted, award-winning, regional product like Valentine Vodka,” Says Rifino Valentine.
Valentine Vodka (http://www.valentinevodka.com) can be found in the Chicago-area at Risque Café (http://www.risquechicago.com) in Wrigleyville and at retailers Armanetti’s on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago and Famous Liquors in Lombard.
