PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 11, 2011 - Ormond Beach, Florida.  Sunrise Aviaton in Ormond Beach, Florida recently graduated a student who completed three FAA ratings in just three weeks!  Captain Abdulaziz Al-Gerban already held his Commercial Helicopter License.  He wanted to add Commercial Airplane ratings to enhance his professional resume.  In just three weeks at Sunrise Aviation he was able to  complete the Private Pilot License in a single-engine airplane, the Instrument Rating in an Airplane, and the Commercial Pilot License in a single-engine airplane.  Captain Al-Gerban graduated with all licenses and ratings on December 9th, 2010 and returned home to Saudi Arabia to continue his pilot career there.

Upon completing his ratings at Sunrise Aviation, Captain Al-Gerban stated the following:
"Sunrise’s commitment for excellence, top quality of teaching, instructors and aircraft availability made it very possible for me to accomplish one of my future goals in a very efficient and cost effective manner."

Sunrise Aviation also helps pilots convert licenses received in other countries to the US FAA license.  Pilots in Europe who have the EASA/JAA license or in India with a DGCA license are just a few examples of those who may wish to add FAA licenses to their existing pilot qualifications.  Often students will add the FAA Commercial Pilot License in order to quality to receive training in transport category aircraft like the Boeing 737 or Airbus 320 in the USA.  In some countries, holding a type rating in either the B737 or A320 is the minimum qualification for getting that first airline job.

Sunrise Aviation currently has 40 full-time students from across the world doing various pilot training courses including the popular Commercial Pilot License.  For under $40,000 USD and in six months or less, students can launch their aviation careers.  Current students at Sunrise Aviation come from the following countries:  Bahamas, Canada, Spain, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Tunisia, Tanzania, Nigeria, India, and Turkey.

Sunrise Aviation now has more than 40 aircraft including the venerable and cost effective Cessna 152, Cessna 172 including glass-cockpit versions, multi-engine airplanes (Piper Seminole and Seneca), and the speciality Piper models (Arrow and Tomahawk).
