Two Boston Baby Professionals Team Up To Guide New And Expecting Parents

Business owners and seasoned registered nurses Carole Arsenault and Raeanne Brazee collaborate to ensure Boston-area families have it all covered from birth and parent education to postpartum support and newborn care.

Jan. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Founder of Boston Baby Nurses, Carole Arsenault and Boston Baby Beginnings’ founder Raeanne Brazee announce that they will work together, including holding events and issuing joint newsletters, to better meet the needs of new and expecting parents. Each saw the demand for a service that seamlessly guides families from that last trimester of pregnancy through the newborn stage and together hope to bridge that gap.

As experts in their respective fields and practiced in the anticipation, nerves and utter exhaustion new parents can feel, each started her own business. Arsenault, an RN and lactation consultant providing postpartum support and overnight newborn care and Brazee, an RN educating expectant parents on all things childbirth. In a join statement they expressed, “we are excited to announce this partnership, which will bring more readily available expertise, resources, and events to area families.”

Brazee believes it’s important not only to provide a wealth of information but also to build relationships with the parents she teaches over the course of her childbirth classes. “Expecting a baby is an utterly significant time. Having a professional, yet caring person there for guidance means a lot to the parents I work with, which is why I refer those who want some extra support in the first few weeks after birth to Boston Baby Nurses” says Brazee.

Arsenault, author of The Baby Nurse Bible also emphasizes the positive impact that a professional support system can have on parents as they expect and birth a new baby. “Parents of newborns have a lot going on, often both personally and professionally. There’s nothing like receiving those sometimes desperate calls for help and then only days later hearing such positive sentiments about their reassuring, restful experience with a nanny or nurse we’ve placed in their homes. I’m excited to work with Raeanne and Boston Baby Beginnings to let families know that premier services and support are available from pregnancy right on through their babies’ first months.”
