The triangle QWERTY layout resembles the jaws of a crocodile, whence the application's name.

The modified layout leaves nice even triangular spaces between the keys and clearly indicates where the key centers are. This optical effect is highly enhanced by a contrast keyboard color scheme where keys stand out from the background. The Crocodile Keyboards application by Intellectsoft, Ltd. supports color changing options for the keys, the background, the lettering, as well as the predictive text and learning dictionary.
