PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 9, 2011 - Now that it is 2011, it’s time to review your beauty routine.  We get so much questions from customers wanting to know what products they should use and when to use them. Here is our quick guide to choosing the right products for a skincare routine that meets your needs.

For women and men in their 20’s, this is the time for basics. Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize and Exfoliate once a week. In your late 20’s, it’s time to start an eye cream.  Hydrated skin will prevent and delay wrinkles from forming. Exfoliating will keep skin fresh.

In your 30’s and 40’s, your skincare routine should look like this: Cleanse, Tone, Serum,
Eye Cream, a Hydrator or a Moisturizer, Exfoliate at least once a week. This is the time were sun damaged skin starts to appear. Use a serum on sun damaged areas, lines and wrinkles. This is also the time that Adult Acne can arise. If you battle adult acne, use a hydrator instead of a moisturizer.  Exfoliating remove dull, flaky skin and can help slow down aging.

For Mature skin, men and women over 50, you want to Cleanse, Tone, Serum, Eye Cream, Hydrator, Moisturizer and Exfoliate once a week.  As we age, skin tends to get dryer. Adding a hydrator or Argan oil before your moisturizer will increase moisture and keep your skin supple and plump.

Cleansing: Cleans the skin, removing dirt and debris. Morning and Night, apply a small amount cleanser in your fingertips, massage in an upward circular motion. Rinse well.
Exfoliating: At least once a week, use an exfoliator.  Removing dead skin cells helps promotes cell turnover, removes fine lines and wrinkles and reveals fresh, healthy looking skin!

Toner: Using a toner prepares your skin for serums, it also cleans the pores deep down. Twice daily, Saturate cotton with toner and gently swipe over face and neck. Repeat until cotton comes out completely clean.

Anti Wrinkle Serums: Help repair damaged areas and areas with fine lines and wrinkles. On toner damp skin . Press and pat a small amount of serum on toner damp skin. Use on fine lines and wrinkles. Let dry completely before applying any other spot treatment or moisturizer. If running low on time, take a hair dryer on cool and dry the skin for 30 seconds.

Eye Creams: Lift and firm the eye area, also help with crow’s feet. Use twice daily. Pat gently around eyes. Around and out of upper eye lid and down below eye.
Hydrators: Hyaluronic Acid plumps the skin with a boost of moisture. Apply a small amount to the face and neck.

Moisturizers: For essential hydration. Use a small amount on the face and neck, morning and night. If you are acne prone, use a hydrator instead. If you have combination skin, use a moisturizer on dry areas avoid the T-zone. For those with mature skin, use argan oil before your moisturizer.
