From 10 am to 3 pm, we’ll introduce new clients to the salon with $30 haircuts ($16 for men) and $12 manicures, half off the regular salon price. For both new and current clients, there will be special door prizes, raffles and product give-aways. We aren’t taking appointments, so come by early.
Even better, some of our friends are joining the celebration. We’ll have healthy, tasty bites from Slo Foods Organic Café, and relaxing massage treatments from Space.
Green with Envy carries and uses only organic hair care lines, including Simply Organic, John Masters and Soma. It’s color line, Mastey Teinture, is the only zero ammonia permanent hair color with natural lipids that enable hair to take color better and last longer. The salon’s in-house nail services use only non-toxic products as well.
Green with Envy is committed to health and environment both in, and out, of the salon. Located in LEED certified Optima Camelview Village, Green with Envy’s sleek, modern interior is enhanced with many eco-friendly touches from the soy-based floor stain and to the tankless water heater and denim insulation (yes, crushed jeans!)
Green with Envy minimizes its environmental impact by conserving water, electricity and other resources during the day-to-day operations of the salon. Hair clippings are donated to Matter of Trust, a non-profit organization that uses the clippings to create hair mats to clean up oil spills.
