Follow on Google News | Stepinac High School Rallies for "Coaches for Cancer"Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York, will once again support "Coaches vs. Cancer" to raise money for the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer.
By: Thompson&Bender This year, the school is designating Friday, February 11 as Coaches vs. Cancer night when the Stepinac Crusaders basketball team plays triple header games against Cardinal Hayes at 7 PM at Stepinac, 950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains. Last year, Stepinac raised about $8,000 for the American Cancer Society in the names of George Kehayas, former member of Stepinac’ Like last year, the admission price will be increased $1 for each game and Stepinac will also donate $2 per person who attends. In addition, for a $5 donation, the Stepinac students will be permitted to dress down all day. To show support for the cause, Stepinac coaches will wear shirts and ties with sneakers all day. Parents have been invited to sponsor a Stepinac coach of their choice (from all sports teams at the school).
