Sennheiser’s active noise-canceling system lets you simply ‘switch off’ annoying noise from aircraft engines and trains.  At the push of a button, NoiseGard 2.0 technology minimizes low-frequency background noise. The active noise-cancelling effect of the two travel headphones is supported by a high level of passive attenuation: the closed design, large circumaural ear cups and the use of noise-attenuating materials successfully keep out high-frequency noise. As a result the sound level is reduced by up to 23 dB. At the same time, the TalkThrough function allows you to conduct a conversation with your neighbor or the cabin crew whenever you like without removing the headphones.

A control unit integrated into the ear cup allows you to conveniently take incoming phone calls. A simple push of a button is enough to establish the connection. And the AVRCP Bluetooth protocol allows you not only to regulate the volume on the MM 550 and PXC 360 BT but also to select individual tracks. The Bluetooth, SurroundSound and NoiseGard functions can also be directly activated at the ear cups – taking you into a different world at the push of a button.
