Other award categories recognize true pioneers who have achieved exceptional career gains in government and industry, who have already merited lifetime achievement recognition, and who have energized their companies and their communities alike. Black Engineer of the Year Awards alumni and some of our country's most promising students will also be recognized during this three-day event.
The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. is the venue for this three-day meeting of the minds. Thursday, February 17th, commences with the Opening Night Alumni Welcome Reception. On Friday, the Modern Day Technology Leaders Luncheon, professional development seminars, and the popular Career Coaching Roundtables take place. The evening concludes with the Sixth Annual Stars and Stripes Military Dinner celebration hosted by U.S. Navy. On Saturday, February 19th, the conference offers an opportunity to join the Historically Black Colleges and Universities’
On the evening of the 19th, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., the conference hosts the 25th Black Engineer of the Year Awards black tie gala.
