Jan. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- PacBlue Printing, Vancouver’s premier small, large and grand format printing company announced today the installation of a brand new Xerox 1000 Colour Press which was acquired from Xerox Canada Ltd. PacBlue Printing is amongst the first in Vancouver’s print industry to install the Xerox 1000 Colour Press . This new printing machine offers customers more creative freedom over similar technology due to the clear ink option that supports inventive spot finishes and graphic effects that required extra processing in the past through additional equipment.

"We can now offer unique, spot-coated solutions even in short runs. The innovative clear ink highlights images and draws attention to personalized information. This feature can be used anywhere from sales brochures, flyers and postcards to direct-marketing campaigns," said Jonathan Colley, CEO/President at PacBlue . "The Xerox 1000 Colour Press allows us to offer a cost-effective solution in today’s cost-conscious print market. Customers now have greater flexibility with their creativity while meeting today’s economic budget constraints."

PacBlue Printing has always focused on providing service-oriented printing solutions to its customers. With the addition of the Xerox 1000 Colour Press to their production line, PacBlue Printing offers a solution that exceeds the increasing demands of the market for a higher printing quality.

“We always look to serve our customers better. This principle has been at the cornerstone of our business forever. In the printing industry, printers have to find a way to stand out. With all the custom work we produce, we feel that the Xerox 1000 is the perfect fit for us,” said Mr. Colley. “By adding to our printing capabilities we are helping our customers to remove the creative boundaries imposed by technology before.”

In addition to the Xerox 1000 Colour Press PacBlue Printing is also adding to its production line the Xerox 700 Digital Colour Press and the Xerox Nuvera® 120 EA Production System. This upgrade of PacBlue’s printing capabilities positions the company on top of new technology allowing a greater flexibility and better quality.
